Ingredients:

Before Frying:

  • 1 Large Potato
  • 2 tbsp All Purpose flour (Maida)
  • 2 tbsp Rice flour or Corn flour
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • Pinch of Salt
After Frying:

  • 1 tsp Cajun powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Cheddar powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chipotle chili powder (Optional)
  • Salt as per taste

Step by step photo recipe to make Vegan Cajun French Fries:



  • Chop potatoes length wise. Immediately add all purpose flour, garlic powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, onion powder, salt, and rice flour. mix well.

  • Fry the potatoes till they are golden brown.


  • Add all the spices mentioned in "After frying" section and mix well.
